Kinkaku was built by Yoshimitu Ashikaga at 1397.
This temple is the one built as Shari-den Temple. The tower in three layers faced the pond is typical examples of the Muromachi period tower construction that puts gold on two layers and three layers. The garden is specified for a special historic site and a special place of scenic beauty.
Now,seeing 400yen and parking 300yen.
